This very readable document provides many cautions, how-to's, and practical ideas for ensuring the environment is preserved during the building process and perpetually.

In the long run, most of these ideas and methods will save you money, as
well as preserve our beautiful Coral Bay. Be sure to discuss these steps
with your builder beforehand, so that your preferences will be known and
acted upon.

These Guidelines are a generalized version of guidelines created for the
Privateer Homeowners Association by a committee chaired by Doug White, Architect. He is a member of CBCC and also the Island Green Building Association: www.igba-stjohn.org

The Guidelines will be updated and improved, as needed, based on your
comments.
